Josué Casimir has left AJ Auxerre for Dynamo Moscow. The Burgundy club confirmed the loan move for its Haitian forward, with an option to buy included, on the final day of the Russian transfer window.
How the loan deal came together
The move was finalized right before the Russian window shut. The option to buy written into the agreement was not disclosed by either club.
Casimir joined Auxerre as a free agent back in 2025. He spent just one season in Burgundy before this new departure to Russia.
The Haitian forward is 24 years old and arrived at Auxerre on a free transfer last year. His time at the club lasted only one season before this loan move.
What it means for the Auxerre squad
The departure comes at a rough moment for the club. Auxerre sit 18th in Ligue 1 on 0 points through three games, having lost all three.
With just 4 goals scored against 11 conceded, Auxerre are already nine points behind leaders Monaco. Fans can check the squad and stats pages before the club hosts Nice, 15th in the table, on September 12, 2026, a match listed on the fixtures page.
