Thierry Hubac has announced his departure from AJ Auxerre this Thursday. He leaves his role as director of communications and corporate social responsibility after two years at the club.
The executive made his decision known via a message on social media. “Two years after arriving at the club as director of communications and CSR, Thierry Hubac is leaving AJ Auxerre,” he said. Hubac reflected on more than forty years spent in the football world, mentioning many encounters and experiences that marked his journey.
Before joining Auxerre, he served as media relations officer at Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace from 2022 to 2024. He had previously been general coordinator of communication strategy for the city and agglomeration of Lorient between 2020 and 2021. In his message, he thanked several individuals who accompanied his professional path and expressed his intent to continue his career in football.
This change comes as AJ Auxerre sits 10th in Ligue 1 with 6 points. The team is on a three-game winning run, including a 4-3 victory over Clermont Foot last Wednesday. The next away fixture, against Stade Rennais on October 11th, will be a significant test. The club enters this period with a performing squad, whose top scorer is Cameron Archer with three goals. To follow the squad's composition, the squad list is available.
