Auxerre/Joigny's PEFA had the opportunity to live an exceptional experience at Pôle France Futsal in Lyon. This trip, bringing together players and young referees, is fully in line with the development dynamics of the young section engaged by the Auxerre section for several years. Composed of students from the first and second year of the lycée Fourier Saint-Germain in Auxerre, the group led by Guillaume SALLANDRE, benefited from two days of rich exchanges, learning and sharing experience with the elite of French futsal in training. The highlight of this immersion was a friendly match between the selection of PEFA Auxerre – Joigny and the best players of Pôle France Futsal. Facing a very high-level opposition, the Auxerrois were defeated 7-5, but delivered a quality performance, demonstrating their progress, commitment and ability to compete with the best young French talents in the discipline. This experience is part of the remarkable course achieved by PEFA Auxerre – Joigny during the IFS Futsal World Championship held in Brazil in November last year. It testifies to the constant will of the structure to offer its students formative experiences at the highest level, both for players and referees in training. PEFA Auxerre – Joigny would like to congratulate all the students for their exemplary behavior, their investment and the positive image they have conveyed throughout the stay.
